A crowd of over 400 were on hand to honour and remember 3 year old Nimrat Gill on Saturday evening at Civic Plaza. Nimrat died in February at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
She had previously been sent home from the hospital's emergency department. She was brought back to ARH 29 hours later when her symptoms worsened, and died soon after.
The Fraser Health Authority has since initiated a patient safety review.
A candlelight vigil followed several short speeches from dignitaries and family.
