The Abbotsford Arts Council (AAC) presents “The Do’s and Don’ts of Grant Writing,” the first of eight presentations in the 2014 Art of Marketing Speaker Series.
The event, sponsored by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce, takes place Thursday, March 20 at the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique, 2387 Ware St., starting at 6:30 p.m.
The featured speaker will be Heidi Turner, Abbotsford-based freelance writer, 2013 Arty Award recipient, and B.C. regional director of the Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC).
Turner will discuss some of the vital things to do (and not do) when writing grant applications.
Pre-registration is $15 for AAC members and $25 for non-members and can be done online at grantwritingabbotsford.eventbrite.ca or at the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique.
