A new Key Holder program has been developed at Matthew’s House in Abbotsford.

The program involves people making regular monthly donations to the house, which provides respite care for families whose children live with complex care needs.

Providing this care takes nearly a million dollars annually, and having regular supports makes an enormous difference, says Alan Cavin, resource development coordinator for Communitas Supportive Care Society, which operates Matthew’s House.

To encourage people to sign up for the Key Holder program, a contest is being held. Those who sign up before March 5 will be entered to win a getaway for two to the Sparkling Hill Resort in Vernon.
