Job’s Daughters in Abbotsford raise breast-cancer funds

Group held day of pampering and silent auction for Canadian Cancer Society

Abbotsford Job’s Daughters have raised more than $1,000 to help in the battle against breast cancer.

The daughters of Job’s Daughters Bethel #20 Abbotsford choose a charity project for each six-month term to help within Abbotsford.

This term they chose to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society for breast cancer research.

They held a day of pampering on Oct. 28, which consisted of facials, massages and manicures.

They also held a silent auction of donated items they had collected in Abbotsford and Mission.

Job’s Daughters is a leadership organization for girls from the ages of 10 to 20. They teach public speaking, charitable service, respect and love, while making lifelong friends.
