A National Indigenous Peoples Day event with dancing and more will be held in Abbotsford on June 20.

In honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day, the City of Abbotsford is inviting people to come down to Mill Lake Park to experience local Indigenous culture firsthand.

Hosted in partnership with Indigenous Education and Abbotsford School District, this event features a wide range of entertainment, free for all to enjoy.

In addition to love storytelling, there will also be dancing, art stations, and much more spread throughout the park.

Although National Indigenous Peoples Day takes place on June 21, this cultural celebration takes place at Mill Lake Park on Friday, June 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

It is free to attend, with no registration required. More information can be found at www.abbotsford.ca/culture-city.
