The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) has received a $20,000 donation from Jonathan Christian of Abbotsford.
Christian is the founder of We Make Stuff Happen, a digital marketing company that is celebrating its 20th year in business.
The donation comes alongside a complete re-branding and development of a new foundation website and logo designed by We Make Stuff Happen.
Christian has a personal connection to Abbotsford Regional Hospital (ARH). After having a cancerous spot removed from his forehead at ARH, he has
become an outspoken advocate for health-care services that are crucial to residents.
“Supporting our health-care system is a priority for me” he said.
“Every dollar invested in our hospitals is an investment in our community, our families and our future. I believe in Abbotsford and want it to be the best city in B.C., which is why I’m dedicated to supporting local businesses and initiatives like Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation."
The donation will go towards medical equipment.
FVHCF executive director Elizabeth Harris said the foundation is grateful for the support.
“The impact of Jonathan’s donation, coupled with his passionate commitment to our health-care system, inspires us greatly," she said.
