A fundraiser to upgrade a local dog park will be held on Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Glen Bar & Grill, at the Fraser Glen Golf Course on South Parallel Rd.
Tickets to the event are $20 and include a cheeseburger, fries and beer. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 draw, driving range, putt contests and more.
The funds will go towards improving an existing two-acre, off-leash dog park located between Okanagan Drive and Haida Drive, off Gladwin Road.
Organizers hope to add fencing around the site, create a specific area for small dogs, an activity field and a covered shelter for owners.
