Abbotsford Middle School students learned the ABCs of Bullying Prevention Monday morning through a member of the Harlem Globetrotters.
Firefly Fisher, who is in his fifth season with the internationally known basketball team, presented the organization's bullying awareness program which focused on action, bravery and compassion.
He also explained the types of bullying (verbal, physical and cyber) and offered strategies on how to react when faced with or witnessing bullying.
The Globetrotters will be performing at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the box office, abbotsfordcentre.ca or by calling 855-985-5000.
