The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford hosts “Girls Night @ The Museum Goes Parisian” on Friday, Nov. 7.

“It’s all about wine, women, song, food, treats, shopping, playing creatively and, yes, raising dollars for hands-on kids arts and heritage inter-activities in your community,” says Ingrid Epp, director of development at The Reach.

During the Paris-style cafe event, appetizers and desserts will be served, and the local Pilkey Sisters will entertain with their three-part harmony, performing favourite nostalgic numbers.

The Pilkey Sisters have been acting and singing jazz, pop, R&B, gospel and country together for all their young lives, including at “Songs, Strings and Steps” productions, the Vancouver Canadians baseball games, the Vancouver International Airport and at many other events.

Also at Girls Night, a silent auction features items such as hand-crafted European glass, vintage jewelry, Paverpol sculptures, pottery, rustic soaps, edible artisan mixes and seasonings, and visual art and design pieces.

Guests can also participate in hand or foot reflexology, henna applications, nail wraps, and making wine charms.

The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Reach, 32388 Veterans Way. Tickets are $35 for Reach members and $40 for guests, and are available in person at The Reach, online at thereach.ca or by calling 604-864-8087.
