GirlKIND and The Reach Gallery Museum present the seventh annual Every Girl Matters Day on Friday, Oct. 11.

The free event runs from 5 to 6 p.m. at The Reach (32388 Veterans Way). It is held in conjunction with the UN’s Day of the Girl, which calls on communities around the world to recognize the injustices girls face and to celebrate their abilities.

Guests are invited to create an inspirational-quote magnet (all supplies are provided).

Every Girl Matters Day also includes a draw for a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, swag bags for the first 50 attendees, food and refreshments.

GirlKIND is a charitable organization that is working to combat gender discrimination, fight gendercide and raise awareness of these issues.
