The GEMS Girls' Clubs We Walk Tour comes to Abbotsford this Saturday, Feb. 8.
The afternoon, specifically designed for moms/mentors and their daughters, takes place at Gateway Community Church, 2884 Gladys Ave. Doors open at 8:15 a.m., and the event gets underway at 9 a.m.
The event features author and speaker Sara Lynne Hilton, author of Shadows in Tenebray Forest.
We Walk helps girls understand that their lives matter and they are capable of much more than what they often think.
Praise and worship leaders True Emotion will also be participating in the event.
The morning will feature a “Mom/Mentor Talk” session, gifts, giveaways and snacks.
