Chilliwack Mayor Sharon Gaetz was in Abbotsford today, representing the Fraser Valley Regional District. Gaetz, who is chair of the FVRD. along with the remaining board members, came to the Campus of Care site, adjacent to the Abbotsford Regional Hospital, to make a $50,000 donation to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
Margaret McNeil, CEO, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, thanked the district for the donation.
“Our heartfelt thanks are extended to the Fraser Valley Regional District for their incredible contribution to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and our extension of programs and services across British Columbia,” she said. “Your generosity and commitment to the hospice is truly admirable, and we are grateful for your support and partnership as we move toward our vision of helping all BC children and families facing life-threatening illnesses. Thank you!”
