More than 40 children with life-threatening illnesses and chronic disabilities were brought together Zajac Ranch from Aug. 6-10 through the generosity of Mr. Lube.
The annual Mr. Lube Kid's Drive — held throughout August — has raised a total of $100,000 in three years, and all the funds have gone directly to support the Stave Lake-based camp's programs, additional staff, travel and accommodations.
During the drive, donations are collected from customers and franchisees.
The camp welcomes children who are turned away from other camps because of their physical, developmental and behavioural challenges and offers them opportunities to have fun make new friends and try new things, in a safe inclusive environment.
