Prospera Credit Union holds a free Skate Party in Abbotsford on Dec. 5.

Prospera Credit Union hosts a free Skate Party in Abbotsford on Saturday, Dec. 5 at Abbotsford Centre (33800 King Rd.).

The event runs from noon to 3 p.m. and includes entertainment, a complimentary keepsake photo, and free cookies and hot chocolate.

Participants must supply their own skates, and donations will be accepted for the Abbotsford Community Services Food Bank.

The skate party also takes place in Chilliwack on Sunday, Dec. 6 from noon to 3 p.m. at Prospera Centre, 45323 Hodgins Ave. Skates can be rented for $4, and donations will be collected for the Chilliwack Salvation Army Food Bank.
