Front-desk reception volunteers are needed to assist with a program that offers free income tax preparation next spring for low-income people.
The volunteers start in mid-February, operating out of Garden Park Tower (2825 Clearbrook Rd.).
Also needed are those who can assist with completing the tax returns.
The returns are completed by volunteers in March and April through a collaboration between the Canada Revenue Agency and the Clearbrook Golden Age Society.
The program serves individuals with an income of up to $30,000 and couples with an income of up to $40,000. The clinics are held at Garden Park Tower (2825 Clearbrook Rd.).
Volunteers should have some level of training and experience in doing tax returns, although training will be provided where needed.
