Four sessions in President's Leadership Lecture Series at UFV

University of the Fraser Valley holds four upcoming sessions in its President’s Leadership Lecture series.

UFV president Mark Evered said the series brings inspirational speakers who will focus on issues relevant to social, cultural, economical and environmentally responsible development in the Fraser Valley.

“I particularly value the opportunity these lectures provide to welcome back some of our honorary doctorate recipients,” Evered said.

The first lecture is on Tuesday, March 1 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Student Union Building with Terry O’Reilly, a marketing and advertising expert who will speak on The Power of Storytelling. Tickets are $35 general and $10 for students.

Other sessions in the series are free and take place:

– Wednesday, March 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Student Union Building with Dr. George Lopez;

– Wednesday, March 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. in lecture theatre B101 with Dr. Catherine Hickson; and

– Sunday, May 1, all day at the UFV performance theatre in Chilliwack with Dr. Margo Kane.
