Four locals move on to B.C. Heritage Fair

Four Abbotsford students are among five in the Fraser Valley who have been chosen to show their projects at the provincial Heritage Fair this July in Victoria.

Four Abbotsford students are among five in the Fraser Valley who have been chosen to show their projects at the provincial Heritage Fair this July in Victoria.

The students were among 120 winners at the regional fair, which took place April 29 at the Air Cadet Building in Abbotsford and drew 800 entries.

The four Abbotsford students going to the provincial event from July 4 to 8 are:

– Josh Appenheimer from Dunach Elementary with his project John Hopps: He’s Got the Beat!;

– Brayden Baerg from ASIA North Popular elementary with his project Harvey Switzer;

– Natalie Timmermans from King Traditional elementary with Courage in Red; and

– Kezia Ewert from Abbotsford Middle School with South Abbotsford Mennonite Brethren Church.
