Flappers and flapjacks at MSA Museum

Event on Sunday, June 14 will take place at Trethewey House in Abbotsford

The MSA Museum Society holds its annual event Flappers and Flapjacks on Sunday, June 14.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes a free pancake brunch provided by the Kiwanis Clubs of Abbotsford/Clearbrook, old-fashioned fun and games for the family, and door prizes.

It takes place at the historic 1920s Trethewey House at 2313 Ware St.

“Bringing the historical theme of our heritage site into a family-oriented event is a great way to engage with the younger generation,” said Sara Bremner, museum assistant.

“Bringing history to the community in a fun, interactive way is great for creating an interest in our local past.”
