This scrap car, located at Cyrus Centre in Abbotsford, is being used until Thursday, July 13 for youth to write messages on.

Cyrus Centre, Scrap Cars Not Kids and Fraser Valley Metal Recycling are working together to crush youth homelessness.

The project began on July 5 and runs until July 13, inviting youth to write down on a scrap car whatever they want to see crushed out of their lives, such as addiction, poverty, illness and loneliness.

The scrap car will then be crushed to raise awareness and hope for youth facing these barriers.

The car is located outside of Cyrus Centre at 2616 Ware St. in Abbotsford.
