The Cycling for Diversity team made a stop at Matsqui elementary and Dasmesh Punjabi School this past Friday.
Cycling for Diversity Foundation's journey started in 2011 to celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development on May 21, a day proclaimed by the United Nations. The C4D Foundation combines the art of cycling and intercultural dialogue and having the opportunity through its travels to speak to thousands about its message: Building bridges of dialogue, one city at a time.
The foundation moves to inform people about embracing cultural diversity through understanding, mutual respect and inclusion.
