The City of Abbotsford is holding a contest that asks residents what “community” means to them.

A post on the city website says, “Creating a healthy community to live, work and play is what makes our city a great place to be.”

“We want to know what is important to create a community. Is it parks and natural spaces? Maybe it’s family and safe places to play with them or local events or great restaurants featuring food grown right in our own backyard.”

Residents are asked to send in a photo, picture or story by Sept. 13 at letstalkabbotsford.ca/community

All submissions will be entered into a draw to win a community prize pack full of coupons, local products and items.

The contest winner will be announced on Sept. 20.
