Conference focuses on family history

Event takes place Saturday, May 14 at the Abbotsford Family History Centre

The Abbotsford Family History Centre (AFHC) hosts over 20 workshops on Saturday, May 14 in celebration of Family History Day.

The objective of the conference is to help teach people ways to use modern technology and internet research to find their ancestors.

Experienced volunteers with various levels of expertise, from beginner to advanced, will be on hand.

The full day of classes is open to people 12 and older. Topics includes Irish Research, How to Find Your Aboriginal Ancestry, Getting the Most from Ancestry.com, and Family Search/Family Tree.
