The community of Bradner celebrates May Day with the annual parade and Maypole Dance on Monday

The community of Bradner hosts its 96th annual May Day celebration on Monday, May 18.

All activities take place within the vicinity of Bradner Hall (5305 Bradner Rd.) and Bradner Elementary.

A pancake breakfast begins at 8 a.m. at the hall, followed by the parade at 10 a.m. and the Maypole Dance at 11.

A carnival including games, concessions and other activities runs throughout the day.

Preceding the celebration is a family barbecue and dance on Sunday, May 17 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Bradner elementary field, 5291 Bradner Rd.

The event includes a barbecue, live music by Ryan McAllister and band, games and dancing.

Tickets are $30 for adults and free for kids with an adult.

Tickets are available at Bradner elementary, Bradner Store and online at bit.ly/bradnerbbq. All proceeds go to the Bradner elementary Parents’ Advisory Council.
