Want to hold a block party?
The City of Abbotsford is offering free rentals of everything from barbecues to games and tents to tug-of-war ropes to encourage residents to come together and get to know their communities on Neighbours’ Day, Sept. 19.
Free neighbourhood party supplies will be rented from the city’s Neighbourhood Spirit Toolkit. Residents can register their community event ideas at abbotsford.ca/neighbourhoods and will be entered into a prize draw.
Toolkit items will be loaned on a first-come, first-served basis.
