Cineplex hosts annual Community Day

Free family movies at Abbotsford and Mission locations on Saturday, Oct. 22

The Cineplex movie theatres in Abbotsford and Mission are among locations in Canada holding their sixth annual Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m., with free movies being shown all morning and regular programming returning in the afternoon.

This year’s Community Day lineup includes The Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, Zootopia, The Finest Hours and The Jungle Book.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

A selection of popcorn, soft drinks and select candy items will be priced at $2 each. Cineplex will also be selling exclusive ME to WE Cineplex “Change Bracelets” for $2 each, with proceeds going to WE, a movement that empowers people to change the world.

The Abbotsford Cineplex location is at the Highstreet shopping centre on Mt. Lehman Road.

The Mission location is in the Junction Plaza located at 32555 London Ave.
