Abbotsford Christian Assembly holds its annual Nativity Drive-Through next week.

The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Dec. 12 to 14) at the church, 3970 Gladwin Rd.

There are 10 outdoor scenes portraying the Christmas story with live animals, lights, and actors dressed as Mary and Joseph, angels, wise men and shepherds.

The public views the scenes from the comfort of their vehicles, and usually about 1,000 cars stop by.

The church has been hosting the event for 22 years. It takes all year to prepare, and more than 75 people are involved.

Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted for the Abbotsford Food Bank and the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign.
