Car show raises almost $11,000 for hospital

Proceeds donated from Mill Lake Cruise-In held in Abbotsford

The organizers of the annual Mill Lake Cruise-In recently presented a cheque of almost $11,000 to the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF).

Robbie and Pete Zomar made the donation to FVHCF executive director Liz Harris. The funds were raised from this year’s show, held July 8 at Mill Lake Park.

The cruise-in features hundreds of specialty vehicles on display, as well as food, live entertainment and door prizes.

The FVHCF will use the funds to purchase priority equipment at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
