Canuck Place – Dave Lede House in Abbotsford was transformed into a fun, interactive Halloween party last Friday.

The event was hosted for children and families on the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice program.

Sponsored by Sofina Foods and Lilydale Food Products, guests enjoyed spooky, festive fun, including face painting, cookie decorating, and Halloween crafts and games.

This special event allowed families in the program to connect with each other and build special memories together.

The Sofina Foods and Lilydale Food Products team were on site as volunteers, helping children decorate pumpkins and filling goodie bags.

“Canuck Place Children’s Hospice wouldn’t be here without our community partners like Sofina Foods,” said Canuck Place CEO Margaret McNeil.

“By sponsoring this event, Sofina Foods is helping Canuck Place families savour their time together, which is a big priority for us. Families deserve a break from the day-to-day hardships they endure, and that is what this event is about.”

Canuck Place, located on Marshall Road, introduced in-patient care at Dave Lede House this year. Visit canuckplace.org for more information.
