Canuck Place Children's Hospice receives $50,000 boost

CIBC has announced it will help fund the new Abbotsford facility over five years.

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice in Abbotsford has received a $50,000 donation from CIBC. To be paid over five years, the funds were recently presented by Jack Glazier, associate vice-president of CIBC Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

The money will go towards programs and services at the Abbotsford site, currently under construction on Marshall Road adjacent to Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

The 30,000-square-foot hospice is part of the Dave Lede Campus of Care. The project also includes Holmberg House, an adult hospice operated by the Abbotsford Hospice Society, and Matthew’s House, a respite facility for children with severe disabilities.
