Mayor Banman received his daffodil pin Friday, showing support for the Canadian Cancer Society in the Fight against cancer, from cancer survivors and Abbotsford Relay For Life participants, Linda Scharf and Gwen Clyne.

Mayor Banman has registered for the Abbotsford city hall team and encourages others to register, fundraise and join him on the track.

Each April marks the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Campaign. The daffodil has long been recognized as the symbol of hope in the fight against cancer.

The Canadian Cancer Society’s signature event Relay For Life will take place in Abbotsford on June 14 at Rotary Park.
