Campbell's Gold Honey Farm and Meadery (2595 Lefeuvre Rd.) hosts its 10th annual free Family Fun and Bee Education Day on Saturday, Aug. 20.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes opportunities to look at the bee nursery, view marking of the queens, participate in general bee education and trips to the live hive, and view an extraction demonstration.
There will also be activities and displays provided by Langley Environmental Partners Society and the Burns Bog Conservation Society.
Also included are face painting, a children’s craft centre, games for all ages, tastings from the Mt. Lehman Cheese Company, and tastings of honey and honey wine.
Free pancakes will be served starting at 11 a.m., while supplies last.
