Abbotsford joins the celebration for the 100th anniversary of the CNIB with an event on Saturday, March 17.

Canucks Alumni take on blind hockey players from the Vancouver Eclipse squad from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Abbotsford Recreation Centre, 2499 McMillan Rd.

CNIB – a registered charity providing support and a national voice to those who are blind or partially sighted – was founded in 1918 by veterans and advocates who believed in ability and equal opportunity for people who are blind.

The work has evolved over the years, but the agency has never strayed from the original mission. Visit cnib.ca or call 1-800-563-2642 for more information.
