Items will be collected for the Abbotsford Community Services’ Food Bank during local blood donor clinics in December.
Bleed and Feed collection boxes will be at the front reception desk during the clinics, which take place at Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly, 3145 Gladwin Rd.
They run from 2 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 27, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 17. To make an appointment, call 1 888 2 DONATE (1-888-236-6283) or book online at blood.ca.
Canadian Blood Services needs 9,750 donors to give blood at clinics across B.C. in December, and Food Banks B.C. will need food for 70,000 people. The non-perishable items collected in Abbotsford stay in the community.
