Lawn watering restrictions, limiting homeowners to twice a week watering, will begin on June 15 and run until Sept. 15, pending final council approval.
Even-numbered homes can use sprinklers Wednesday and Saturday from 6 to 8 a.m. only, and odd-numbered homes can run from 6 to 8 a.m., Thursday and Sunday only, as in previous years. Those with new lawns can buy a permit to allow more watering.
Watering flower and vegetable gardens, shrubs and trees is allowed, but must be done using a hand-held container, or a hose with a spring loaded shut-off device.
