Abbotsford Community Services (ACS) presents its 2017 Community Builders’ Awards on Thursday, Oct. 26 at The Reach Gallery Museum from 6 to 8 p.m.

The awards honour outstanding volunteers – those organizations, partnerships, business leaders and individuals who work tirelessly, passionately and collaboratively to make Abbotsford a better place in which to live, work and raise a family.

Every year the community relations committee at ACS seeks nominations from the community for organizations and individuals that demonstrate excellence and the high standards of ethical conduct, integrity, civic and social responsibility.

“The Community Builders’ Awards recognize those who lead by example, contribute their time and resources … and who think of innovative ways to make positive change happen in our community,” said Darlynnda Ross, chair of the committee.

ACS is a non-profit social service agency that serves almost 40,000 members through its 80 programs.
