The fifth annual Divalicious, held last Tuesday in Abbotsford, raised almost $20,000 for the Abbotsford Hospice Society (AHS).

The event took place at the Phoenix Lounge and was designed around shopping and fashion.

AHS executive director Debbie Lehmann said final totals are still being confirmed, but this year's event was the most successful in five years.

More than 200 tickets were sold, and the raffle – featuring the grand prize of $7,400 diamond-drop earring from Lee's Fine Jewellery – sold out.

A live auction featured more than 100 items, including a $400 pair of Gucci sunglasses, purses, jewelry, accessories, a get-away to Rowena's on the River, and more.

Divalicious also included dinner, a "living floral" fashion show presented by Simply Perfect Flowers.

Funds raised at the event support Abbotsford Hospice, which is currently building Holmberg House – an adult hospice – as part of the Campus of Care adjacent to Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
