Adult education info session

Not everyone who teaches for a living is in a classroom full of kids.

The field of adult education is a wide and varied one. Adult educators work in colleges and universities, but also in hospitals, in prisons, in recreation and seniors centres, in libraries, in occupational health and safety, and on the web.

For more than a decade, the University of the Fraser Valley has been providing a credential for those who work in this varied field.

UFV’s Bachelor of Arts in Adult Education is designed for working professionals and can accommodate full-and part-time learners, and also provides opportunities for the recognition of prior learning and experience.

The university is holding a BA Adult Education info session on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room B121 on the Abbotsford campus.
