The Abbotsford Youth Commission (AYC) is hosting several activities from May 1 to 7 in celebration of Youth Week.
These activities include:
• three-on-three basketball – Wednesday, May 1 from 6 to 10 p.m. in the gym at Abbotsford Senior Secondary with a cost of $15 per team;
• Thank a Youth Worker Day and floor hockey with the Abbotsford Police – Thursday, May 2 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Ag-Rec Building;
• Minute to Win It – Friday, May 3 at Matsqui and Abbotsford recreation centres from 2:30 to 10 p.m.;
• digital scavenger hunt – Saturday, May 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the AYC office;
• $2 swim – Sunday, May 5 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Matsqui Recreation Centre;
• youth Council at city hall – Monday, May 6 at 3 p.m. at city council chambers; and
* random acts of kindness – Tuesday, May 7 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Matsqui and Abbotsford rec centres.
