Activities at Abbotsford Centre during teachers' strike

Kids and adults are invited to drop by for arts and crafts, ball hockey, soccer and more on Thursday.

Abbotsford Centre is offering a series of family activities on Thursday during the teachers’ one-day strike in Abbotsford.

Activities include ball hockey, soccer, arts and crafts, cookie decorating, tours and more.

Participants have a choice of a half-day session, running from either 9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m., with admission of $5 for children.

The full-day session takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a cost of $10.

Adults are free for all sessions.

Parents are asked to bring their children to the main entrance of the centre (33800 King Rd.) to sign up or call 604-743-5027 to reserve space.

Each session is limited to the first 200 children. All kids under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
