An Abbotsford teen has been selected as one of 20 finalists in an international model search competition.
Julia Duckett, 15, was chosen from among 500 young women to take part in the eighth annual ITM (International Top Model) Search on June 7 at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond.
The winner receives $10,000 in prizes, including an all-expenses-paid trip to China to represent ITM and North America in the New Silk Road Model Look contest.
The River Rock competition has previously been won by two Abbotsford teens – Jillian Halldorson in 2009 and Meagan Klop in 2011. Both were 17 years old at the time.
