Three Abbotsford siblings set up a stand to sell iced tea, water and pop at Mill Lake Park recently and raised $160 for cancer research.

Mom Cheryl Harris said her kids – Preston, 9, Jamisen, 7, and Karissa, 5 – set up the stand in support of her cousin, who is battling a rare form of cancer.

The kids all sported yellow T-shirts – the official colour used by the Canadian Cancer Society to represent cancer awareness – and first set up the stand for two hours on June 26, raising $75.

They did it again on June 30 and collected $85.

The three decided to donate all the funds.

"I even asked if they wanted any of their earnings for their piggy bank, and they said no, they want it all to go to cancer research. I'm so proud of them," Cheryl said.
