Abbotsford photographer receives fourth accreditation

Revival Arts Studio’s Jason Brown was recognized for his executive business portraits from the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) at a gala recently held in Vancouver.

An Abbotsford photographer has claimed his fourth accreditation this year.

Revival Arts Studio’s Jason Brown was recognized for his executive business portraits from the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) at a gala recently held in Vancouver.

His other accreditations include architectural photography, child portrait and family portrait.

Accreditation is the first elevation above the general membership level and is achieved by submitting 10 image samples to the PPOC board of review.

"Accreditation shows that a photographer is capable of delivering above-average quality photography in a chosen category," said Brown.

"In an industry that is generally unregulated, it's a great way for clients to know that they are hiring someone who can help them look their best and stand out."

Criteria such as impact, creativity, style, composition, presentation and lighting is assessed with each entry.
