A team of Rick Hansen Grade 9 students presented their custom-built chicken incubator for review Friday afternoon.
The see-through design by Karanpreet Grewal, Arsh Sidhu, Jasleen Padda Manisha Sharma and Niki Vo managed to hatch three of four chicken eggs.
It was part of a semester project for all Grade 9 students that required them to answer the question "where does the food we eat come from" using a variety of methods.
It was a coordinated effort of English, Science, Math and Digital Literacy teachers.
