Another Vancouver International Auto Show has come and gone, with dozens of awards being dished out to dealerships all around the province at the NCDA Member Awards Gala, including Abbotsford's own The Honda Way.

While other vehicle dealers were honoured for their sales numbers, The Honda Way was one of the few locations celebrated for its community involvement efforts, which dealer principal Brendon Hall called a massive honour for the dealership.

"As a second-generation dealer with over 40 years of family ownership, community involvement has always been at the heart of what we do," Hall said.

The Honda Way wasn't just celebrated among Abbotsford dealerships, but also the entire region, being named the Fraser Valley recipient of the Community Driver Award.

"Whether it’s supporting the Ledgeview Junior Golf Program, contributing to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, or launching monthly $10,000 charity donations through the Fraser Valley Automall, we’re committed to giving back to the people who support us. This award is a meaningful reminder of why we do what we do, and we’re incredibly proud to be recognized for it."
