The West Abbotsford Community School Society hosts its first annual Walk/Run for Success on April 30.
The fundraising event starts at 10 a.m. at Rotary Stadium and Discovery Trail. There are two-, five- and 10-kilometre routes.
All money raised will help the organization provide program subsidies for children and families. Programs include family literacy and parenting, recreation, breakfast, crime prevention and leadership options.
The West Abbotsford Community School Society is a non-profit, charitable organization designed to facilitate the provision of extended and enriched learning opportunities, and remove barriers for student learning and development.
