The Abbotsford board of education has approved the school calendar for the 2014-15 year which includes spring break running from March 16 to 27.
The board had sought input, through an online survey, on which of two options parents and employees favoured for the next school year.
The second option had involved spring break running from March 23 to April 6.
About 1,330 responded to the survey, with 63 per cent in support of the earlier spring break.
