Nominations are now open for the 25th annual Abbotsford Business Excellence Awards presented by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and the Abbotsford News.
The awards recognize outstanding organizations and individuals in Abbotsford that strive for excellence. They are leaders with a commitment to customer service, a concern for the community and a passion for innovation.
The awards will be presented in six categories:
Home-Based Business Excellence – honours a licensed, home-operated business where the recipient conducts their business with professionalism and integrity with a strong focus on customer service.
Entrepreneur of the Year – presented to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills in building their own business or as part of an existing business.
Agricultural and Agri-Business Excellence – recognizes a business that demonstrates a commitment to the environment and the advancement and sustainability of the agriculture industry.
Customer Services Excellence – honours a company that provides services in the business-to-consumer sector and delivers the highest quality service and support to their customers.
Corporate Social Responsibility – recognizes an organization that demonstrates awareness and responsibility for the impacts of its business practices, decisions and activities on society, the community and the environment and shared value for all stakeholders.
The Business Excellence Awards will be presented Nov. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. More information about the award categories and nomination forms are available online at business.abbotsfordchamber.com/events.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, Sept. 24.
