Licence holders wanting to pursue a career in aviation also have the opportunity to apply for entry into Selkirk's two-year aviation - professional pilot program.

Selkirk College has been working with Selair for more than 40 years to provide an aviation program that trains pilots for entry-level positions in the Canadian aviation industry, while keeping pace with advances in flight technology.
