An Abbotsford business has been recognized by the New Car Dealers Association of B.C. for its Community Driver Award.
Magnuson Ford received the honour on March 23, marking the first time that a Ford dealership has received recognition from the association.
The Community Driver Awards are presented annually to one new car dealer, in each of six B.C. regions, that have shown community excellence and business strength over the past year, or over many years.
Magnuson Ford hosts the maximum number – 10 – of Drive One 4UR Community/School events throughout the year in support of local youth and community causes.
For every test drive completed at the event, Ford donates $20 to the cause, up to a maximum of $6,000.
The New Car Dealers Association represents more than 350 new car and truck dealers across the province.
