Envision Financial Minter branch moves to Highstreet

The new Abbotsford branch will carry on the legacy of friendly, local service, financial success and community pride.

On Oct. 7, Envision Financial will be opening a brand new, state-of-the-art branch in the new Highstreet development. Replacing Envision Financial’s former Minter Street location, the new branch will carry on the legacy of friendly, local service, financial success and community pride.

The new Highstreet branch stands to provide better service to Envision Financial’s members and offers a way for the local organization to give back to the residents of Abbotsford.

“We are thrilled at Envision’s continued investment in our City and we are very pleased to welcome them to their new Highstreet location,” said Abbotsford Mayor, Bruce Banman. “Envision has been a strong community partner and a large part of the Abbotsford business and arts community for many years.”

“The opening of Envision Financial’s branch represents something much larger than just a branch relocation,” said Envision Financial president Shelley Besse. “It’s a celebration of nearly 70 years of hard work, community commitment and thankfulness to all the people who’ve been so dedicated to our organization over the years.”

Besse adds that Minter’s current branch manager, Shana Temple, will move to the new branch along with Minter Street employees.

“Our team is excited to continue serving our members from this beautiful new location,” says Temple. “We will continue to build on our commitment to make a real difference in the financial lives of our members and to keeping banking simple Abbotsford residents.”

Envision Financial’s contributions to the city and surrounding region go above and beyond the financial services it offers local residents. Envision Financial currently employs over 110 Abbotsford residents and has poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into the Abbotsford area in the form of scholarships, sponsorships and donations. The organizations and causes Envision supports in Abbotsford include the Abbotsford Food Bank, the Abbotsford Arts Council, Abbotsford Community Services Society, Abbotsford Hospice Society and Fraser Valley Gleaners.

The new Highstreet branch will be holding a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be prizes and activities for the whole family as well as a barbeque by donation, with all proceeds going towards The Full Cupboard. The Full Cupboard is Envision Financial’s innovative new program designed to raise food, funds and awareness for local food banks. Through this initiative, Envision Financial has committed to raising $1 million for local food banks in the next 10 years.
